– CLASS TYPES –

 

Pilates ReformerPilates Reformer is the perfect balance of resistance training, core activation and total body mobility and stability. Georgia and here teams meticulous cues and attention to detail see clients achieving strong technique in the true Pilates Method for beginner to advanced clients. The classes are small groups with a max of 6 people and Georgia’s experienced eye makes the sessions feel personalised for each and every client. ** Classes are Open level. Anyone with injuries should consult with Georgia on if they need private sessions instead of the group classes.  

Hypervibe Open A total body conditioning session in 30 minutes. Enjoy all the benefits of whole body vibration in our Open class where you will experience toning, conditioning, stretching and massage.

Hypervibe Active Aging 55+ This class is where all the fun happens! Active Ageing is available to men and women aged 55+ . The pace is a little slower and the programming tailored to suit bone density, strength and circulation.

Pilates One to One Precision and Technique are key for a positive response from the body when doing Pilates. Private sessions are perfect for finding mobility with stability. Everyone should be doing Pilates, from Builders to Office workers, Mums, Dads and grandparents and anyone restoring their body after injury or surgery.

Specialist Pilates training is the key to finding your edge in sports and performance. We will identify areas that need strengthening in your frame and finding symmetry and core stabilization. The results for Equestrians, Dancers, Golfers and Athletes are transformational and provide a pathway to take you to the next level.

ABOUT GEORGIA

Georgia is a passionate and experienced Pilates Instructor, Trainer and Exercise Scientist with a diverse background in helping people reach greater levels of health and happiness through movement and education.

Whilst completing a Bachelors degree in Health Science majoring in Exercise and Sports Science at Massey Universty in Wellington NZ, she became a Personal Trainer for the well known Les Mills group this is where she first fell in love with connecting with and supporting people from all walks of life to reach greater levels of physical and mental health and happiness through movement.

After 6 years in the corporate health industry her passion for Pilates and the Fitness were undeniable and 2016 she moved back into the Fitness Industry full time. Combining her science backed experience and passion for movement and connecting with people from all walks of life she has since headed up the Personal Training and Wellness arm of Londons original boutique Pilates hub Heartcore Fitness, worked as a Senior trainer for Love Athletica, been head of Reformer teacher training and mentoring for Melbourne’s Upstate studios and worked as a trusted personal trainer to numerous high profile clients both here in Australia and Europe.

She moved to the Sunshine Coast and started a family in 2022 then took on the ownership of Vibrant Body Studio in 2023 from renowned trainer Rockell Rudder Williams to continue to studios legacy and to continue to share her love of movement and helping people find greater levels of health and happiness both mentally and physically through movement and Pilates with the Yandina and Sunshine Coast community.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR ?

Comfortable active wear is recommended and grip socks. If you don’t have grip socks you will be able to purchase at the studio.

I’M PREGNANT, CAN I STILL COME TO CLASS ?

If you are pregnant Hypervibe classes are not for you. Instead book a private Pilates session. Georgia is trained in Pre and Post Natal Pilates care and practised Pilates during her 3 pregnancies and as her PostNatal care.

DO I HAVE TO DO AN INTRO SESSION BEFORE STARTING GROUP CLASSES ?

If you have done Pilates before you are welcome to join any open class.   If you haven’t ever done Pilates before please contact Georgia to book a 30 min private session.  Once you have done this you will be able to enjoy the 5 x Classes for $50 introductory offer.

ARE BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL ?

Yes. As a boutique studio with a maximum of 6 people per class it is essential to pre book your session. Classes can be prebooked up to 2 weeks in advance.

I HAVE AN INJURY, CAN I DO HYPERVIBE ?

Most injuries can be managed and helped with the use of the Hypervibe. There are a few contraindications and best to call Georgia to discuss your injury and the best direction forward.

I HAVE AN INJURY, CAN I DO PILATES ?

Yes. Pilates can be modified and or progressed to suit most individuals. If you have been recommended Pilates to rehabilitate an injury or as post surgery treatment, Georgia can speak with your specialist to work together on your programming.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Every one and every body is welcome to Vibrant Body Studio regardless of age.

Children under the age of 18 need a parent to sign the studio consent and waiver. Georgia has a blue card to work with children.

Whole Body Vibration has had positive effects for children with Cerebral Palsy and Georgia opens an invitation to Cerebral Palsy families to do a free initial private session to experience Whole Body Vibration on the Hypervibe.

DOES VIBRANT BODY STUDIO DO SPECIAL POPULATIONS TRAINING?

Yes.

Training for Dancers – Georgia was a professional dancer and passionate about dancer conditioning and correct development for young dancers. Pilates and Whole Body Vibration have incredible capabilities for taking the quality, strength and endurance of the body to the next level. Pre professional and competition focuses dancers should be aiming for weekly conditioning sessions.

Training for Equestrians – Just as you train your horse, you need to train your body. Pilates is a wonderful way to provide balance and symmetry in the body and the ability to isolate and control your muscles to fit the expectations you have when giving aids to your horse. The Pilates equipment and Hypervibe units provide unique methods to train and strengthen the body along with releasing and stretching areas that can be tight and cause imbalances.

Athletic Conditioning – If your workout has plateaued, layering in Pilates and Hypervibe whole body vibration are a great way to reinvigorate the body and achieve new goals and cater to the demands of athletic performance

WHAT IS WHOLE BODY VIBRATION?

Hypervibe Whole Body Vibration Machines stimulate and activate muscles, joints, and reflexology zones in ways that other forms of exercise can’t — without harmful impact or stress on the body.
When you stand or place other parts of your body on Hypervibe’s moving platform, the repetitive upward movement of the platform sends pulses of kinetic energy up through your body. You control the strength of these energy waves using the machine’s control panel.
As each wave moves up through your body some of the energy is absorbed by the tissues of your body and is converted to heat. Muscles and joints feel and operate better when they are warm. WHAT IS PILATES

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.

STUDIO POLICIES

NEW CLIENTS

We are looking forward to seeing you at Vibrant Body Studio. You will be able to book and pay for your sessions online or of course you can also pay at the studio.   Please remember to bring grip socks and a towel and if doing Reformer Pilates a mat is encouraged.   

Arrivals
Before your first class please arrive 10 minutes early. Before classes to follow please arrive 5 minutes early. Entry to class is not permitted 5 minutes after the start time for safety and respect to fellow participants.
SOCKS
Grips socks must be worn for all group and private sessions. If you do not have a pair we have a great selection for purchase at the studio.
WAITLISTS
If a class is full you can add yourself to the waitlist and will be notified if a place becomes available.
CANCELLATION POLICY

There is an 12 hour cancellation policy for all classes and 24 hour cancellation policy for private sessions.
